Job Description

Are you an experienced DevOps Systems Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? Verizon is looking for a Senior DevOps Systems Engineer to join our fast-paced team! The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of cloud computing and automation, as well as a passion for driving innovation and improving the customer experience.We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering, DevOps, or software development, in addition to a degree in Computer Science or a related field. You must also have experience working with Linux/Unix systems, scripting and automation tools, cloud-based technologies, and CI/CD best practices.If you are passionate about making a difference and have the necessary skills to join our team, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to optimize DevOps processes and operations
  • Develop systems to improve the customer experience and increase efficiency
  • Monitor and maintain cloud-based systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot system errors and provide timely resolutions
  • Develop, maintain, and deploy scripts and automation tools
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
  • Implement and adhere to CI/CD best practices
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance
  • Collaborate with other engineers to design and develop new products
  • Provide technical support and issue resolution for customers
