Senior Cyber Security Consultant – Splunk, SIEM

Verizon is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Consultant – Splunk, SIEM to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about cyber security and has a deep understanding of Splunk and SIEM. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with stakeholders, to provide technical expertise, guidance, and direction in the areas of cyber security and Splunk/SIEM.To be successful in this role, we’re looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an IT security environment, with at least 3 years of experience in Splunk/SIEM. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have experience in developing Splunk dashboards, incident response, and system architecture. Responsibilities: -Develop and implement Splunk dashboards, incident response, and system architecture -Provide technical expertise, guidance, and direction in the areas of cyber security and Splunk/SIEM -Maintain a broad knowledge of security technologies, practices, and security industry standards -Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cyber security solutions are in line with organizational goals -Conduct research and analysis of cyber security threats and solutions -Develop and maintain security policies and procedures -Train and mentor personnel in cyber security best practices and procedures -Monitor and assess cyber security threats and vulnerabilities -Engage in security risk assessment and management activities
