This individual must have the technical and analytical acumen to assess, analyze, and manage complex security risks. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record for developing and implementing security policies and procedures.The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, is essential.The Principal Security Risk Analyst must have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, as well as seven or more years of experience in the security field, including experience with security risk assessment. Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001/2, and other security standards and guidelines is required. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is preferred.The successful candidate will be an integral part of Verizon's Security team, helping to ensure that all security risks are identified and managed in a timely and effective manner.
