Network Cybersecurity Center Analyst

Verizon is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Network Cybersecurity Center Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the security of Verizon’s enterprise network. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving, a commitment to protecting Verizon’s assets, and excellent communication and customer service skills.To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in network security and a thorough understanding of security technologies, solutions, and trends. You should also have experience in incident response, security analysis, and vulnerability management. In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be able to manage competing priorities, and have the ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical expertise and support for the security of Verizon’s enterprise network.
2. Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
3. Investigate and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities.
4. Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
5. Create detailed reports on security threats and vulnerabilities.
6. Monitor security compliance and audit security systems.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends and technologies.
8. Train users on security procedures and best practices.
9. Troubleshoot network and security issues.
10. Provide 24/7 on-call support for urgent security incidents.
