
Manager, Employee Communications
Verizon is searching for a talented Manager, Employee Communications to join our team. This role will provide strategic and tactical support to ensure effective and efficient communications to employees throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong passion for employee engagement and communications.The Manager, Employee Communications will be responsible for developing and executing engaging, informative, and timely employee communication strategies. To be successful in this position, the candidate must possess excellent writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A successful candidate will also have strong project management skills and be highly organized. In addition, the individual must have a customer-focused mindset and understand the importance of building relationships with colleagues and customers. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engaging, informative, and timely employee communication strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Evaluate existing communication strategies and develop new strategies to ensure effective and efficient communications to employees.
- Utilize project management skills to organize and manage employee communications projects.
- Write and edit employee communications content, including emails, newsletters, and other materials.
- Track and analyze employee engagement and communications metrics to identify opportunities to improve.
- Provide input to senior management on communication plans and strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in employee engagement and communications and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Assist in developing and executing training programs for employees on communication best practices and strategies.
- Manage communications budget and resources.
