Verizon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a key member of our group, you will be responsible for providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations to support decision making at all levels of the organization.   1. Conduct Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis and review of company data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Provide Strategic Recommendations: Utilize financial analysis to provide strategic recommendations that support decision making at all levels of the organization.
  3. Support Decision Making: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support to assist in making critical business decisions.
  4. Monitor Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year results and provide explanations for variances.
  5. Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets by providing accurate and timely data and analysis.
  6. Create Financial Models: Develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives and support decision making.
  7. Present Findings: Communicate financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Identify Cost Savings: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies through financial analysis and recommend strategies to achieve them.
  9. Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis to continuously improve processes and provide valuable insights to the organization.
  10. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial analysis and reporting.
  11. Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  12. Drive Business Growth: Use financial analysis to identify areas for business growth and make strategic recommendations to support overall company goals.
  13. Participate in Special Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed to support the company's financial objectives.
  14. Mentor Junior Team Members: Mentor and train junior team members to develop their financial analysis skills and support their professional growth.
  15. Adhere to Compliance Standards: Ensure all financial analysis and recommendations are in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Economics Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Planning And Analysis With A Strong Understanding Of Corporate Finance And Accounting Principles.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data And Provide Strategic Insights.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Financial Information To Non-Financial Stakeholders.

  • Proven Leadership Experience, With The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Financial Analysts And Drive Results In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
