Director - Software Development

We are looking for an experienced Director - Software Development to join the Verizon team and lead our software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving software development projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software development, as well as experience leading and motivating teams. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to deliver projects on time and within budget. 7. Research and develop new technologies to improve software development processes.
8. Train and mentor software development team members in best practices and industry standards.
9. Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to obtain necessary resources for software development projects.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve software development issues.
