Job Description

At Verizon, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Forensic Incident Response Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients prevent, detect, and respond to cyber incidents. Your expertise in digital forensics and incident response will be essential in identifying and mitigating potential threats, ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' digital assets. If you are passionate about cyber security and have a strong background in digital forensics, we want you to be a part of our team.

  1. Conduct digital forensic investigations for clients, including analyzing and collecting digital evidence and providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  2. Respond to cyber incidents in a timely and efficient manner, working closely with clients to contain and mitigate the impact of the incident.
  3. Utilize expert knowledge of digital forensics and incident response tools and techniques to identify, analyze, and remediate potential threats.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
  5. Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and provide proactive recommendations to clients to improve their security posture.
  6. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  7. Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate clients on best practices for preventing and responding to cyber incidents.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  9. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all investigations, findings, and actions taken.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize digital forensic and incident response processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Digital Forensics And Incident Response, Including Proficiency In Industry Standard Tools And Techniques.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network Security, Operating Systems, And Protocols, With The Ability To Identify And Investigate Security Incidents.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Legal And Regulatory Requirements Related To Digital Forensics, Such As Chain Of Custody, Evidence Preservation, And Data Privacy.
