- Conduct thorough digital forensic analysis to identify, collect, preserve, and analyze electronic data in support of incident response investigations.
- Respond to and manage digital security incidents, including breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to conduct forensic examinations and produce detailed reports for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in digital forensics and incident response.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on how to effectively prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for digital forensic and incident response processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all investigations and findings.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 incident response support to clients.
- Train and mentor junior team members on digital forensic and incident response techniques and procedures.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and external partners as needed during investigations.
- Continuously assess and improve the digital forensic and incident response capabilities of the company.
- Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times.
Extensive Knowledge Of Digital Forensics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Experience In Digital Forensics, Including Data Recovery, Analysis, And Preservation Techniques. They Should Also Be Proficient In Various Forensic Tools And Software.
Incident Response Experience: The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Responding To Cyber Incidents And Managing The Entire Incident Response Lifecycle. They Should Be Able To Handle Complex And High-Pressure Situations With Ease.
Industry Certifications: A Successful Candidate Should Possess Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Certified Computer Examiner (Cce), Or Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (Cfce).
Strong Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Network Architecture, Operating Systems, And Programming Languages. They Should Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Complex Technical Data And Communicate It Effectively To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
