Data Engineer- ETL Developer
Verizon is currently looking for a Data Engineer- ETL Developer to join the team and develop, improve, and implement ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data processing and ETL development, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for data-oriented projects. If you have a knack for extracting, transforming, and loading data and turning it into actionable insights, this is the perfect job for you!The successful candidate will need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in ETL development. A strong knowledge of data warehousing and ETL tools such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Informatica, Talend, and DataStage is also essential. An ability to work with Python, Java, or similar coding languages is a plus. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is passionate about data processing and is excited to join a dynamic and diverse team!
Responsibilities:
-Develop, improve, and implement ETL processes -Work with data warehousing and ETL tools such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Informatica, Talend, and DataStage -Utilize coding languages such as Python, Java, or similar to create data solutions -Ensure data accuracy and integrity of the data -Troubleshoot ETL processes and data issues -Provide technical solutions to complex data processing problems -Work with various stakeholders to ensure data requirements are met -Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders -Design and develop data models to support data analysis and reporting needs -Document ETL processes and data flows
