As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability for our company.   1. Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability for Verizon.
  2. Lead the Corporate Strategy team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  3. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision making.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
  5. Monitor and report on progress, performance, and results of strategic initiatives.
  6. Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies to stay ahead of industry changes and customer needs.
  7. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster growth and development.
  8. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the Corporate Strategy team.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning.
  11. Present recommendations and updates to senior leadership and executive team.
  12. Monitor and manage budget and resources allocated to strategic initiatives.
  13. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the success of strategic initiatives.
  14. Represent Verizon at industry events and conferences to stay informed and network with industry leaders.
  15. Drive a customer-centric approach in all strategic initiatives to ensure the best possible experience for our customers.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Corporate Strategy: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Corporate Strategy, With At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Position. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Strategic Initiatives That Drive Business Growth And Profitability.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Corporate Strategy Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Evaluating Potential Growth Opportunities For Verizon. As Such, They Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Assess Market Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Financial Data To Make Strategic Recommendations.

  • Leadership And Team Management: This Role Requires A Leader Who Can Effectively Manage And Motivate Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Business Goals. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading Large Teams, Setting Clear Objectives, And Providing Strategic Guidance To Drive Results.

  • Industry Knowledge: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Telecommunications Industry, Including Market Trends, Regulatory Landscape, And Emerging Technologies. This Knowledge Will Be Critical In Developing And Implementing Effective Strategies To Keep Verizon Ahead Of Its Competitors.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: The Corporate Strategy Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Presenting Strategic Initiatives And Recommendations To Senior Leadership And Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Communication And Presentation Skills Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Complex Information And Gaining Buy-In From Key Decision-Makers.
