Job Description

Develop highly scalable systems, algorithms and tools on one platform to support data solutions. Develop, integrate and optimize end to end data pipeline. Collect, analyze and synthesize requirements and bottleneck in the technology, systems and tools used by machine learning engineers and scientists, develop solutions that improves efficiency, leverage more amount of data efficiently. Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, GPU, TPU and FPGA. Explore state-of-the-art deep learning techniques. Lead and provide guidance to team with regards to Plan, Configure, Deploy and Operate a cloud solutions. Configure access and security tools .Automating the build and configuration of IaaS based solutions in Google Cloud Platform. Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines). Knowledge of Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory, Git, etc. Deliver Proof of Concepts for new Solutions on Cloud. Function as SME both within Verizon and externally within industry.

Job Qualifications

  • Six or more years of relevant experience.

  • Experience building and supporting large-scale, business-critical systems on Public Cloud (Google Cloud Platform or AWS).

  • Experience in designing and engineering solutions in a cloud infrastructure environment.

  • Experience with Big Data on GCP – BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Dataflow
