
Associate Director - Government Sales

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the government sector, including government agencies, contractors, and other decision makers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Represent Verizon at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our services and build brand recognition within the government sector.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of government regulations, policies, and procedures related to sales and contracts.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on sales activities, challenges, and opportunities.
Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Government Sales, Preferably In The Telecommunications Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets, With A Strong Understanding Of The Government Procurement Process.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Government Agencies And Key Decision Makers.
Experience Managing A Team Of Sales Professionals And Developing Strategic Sales Plans.
