- Support the Store Manager in leading and developing a team of retail sales associates.
- Ensure the store meets and exceeds sales targets by motivating and coaching the sales team.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to drive business and meet company goals.
- Ensure all store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and store cleanliness, are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new sales associates.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to sales associates.
- Monitor and report on sales and financial performance to the Store Manager.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to better serve customers and drive sales.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety protocols, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure they are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer and company.
- Assist in conducting regular store audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist in creating schedules and managing payroll for the store team.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the company through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.
Strong Leadership Skills: As An Assistant Manager, Candidates Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Retail Associates And Drive Sales Performance.
Retail Experience: Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Particularly In The Telecommunications Industry, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Will Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of The Retail Business And Customer Service.
Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For An Assistant Manager To Effectively Relay Information To Their Team, As Well As To Interact With Customers. This Includes Both Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
