  1. Provide support and guidance to the retail team in achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase store revenue.
  3. Train and coach team members on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and take appropriate action.
  5. Collaborate with store manager to create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  6. Ensure all store operations and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Stay updated on latest products and services, and effectively communicate this information to team members and customers.
  9. Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products.
  10. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities to team members.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry and market trends, and make recommendations to improve store performance.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure all team members do the same.
  13. Maintain a strong understanding of Verizon’s brand and values, and represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
  14. Assist in the hiring and training of new team members.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the store manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills: An Assistant Manager At Verizon Must Have Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Retail Employees. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Retail Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Managerial Or Supervisory Role. This Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of The Retail Industry And Their Ability To Handle The Day-To-Day Operations Of A Retail Store.

  • Sales And Customer Service Expertise: Verizon Is A Customer-Focused Company, And An Assistant Manager Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Exceptional Sales And Customer Service. This Includes The Ability To Upsell And Cross-Sell Products, Handle Customer Complaints, And Meet Sales Targets.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Assistant Manager, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Employees And Customers. This Includes Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With Others.

  • Technical Knowledge: Working In The Telecommunications Industry, An Assistant Manager At Verizon Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Mobile Devices, Wireless Networks, And Other Technical Aspects Of The Company's Products And Services. This Will Enable Them To Provide Accurate Information And Support To Customers And Employees.
