Job Description

Verizon is seeking an experienced Accessibility Tester to join our growing team. As an Accessibility Tester, you will be working closely with product teams to ensure that our applications and services are accessible and comply with industry standards. You will be responsible for assessing, validating, and documenting the accessibility of our products.The ideal candidate for this position has strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for making technology accessible to all users. You should also have experience in manual and automated accessibility testing and be familiar with accessibility standards and guidelines. A deep understanding of the importance of accessibility and an eagerness to help create accessible products is essential.If you have the required qualifications and are excited to help create a better user experience, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with product teams to ensure that applications and services are accessible and comply with industry standards.
  2. Assess, validate and document the accessibility of products.
  3. Utilize manual and automated accessibility testing methods.
  4. Familiarize oneself with industry accessibility standards and guidelines.
  5. Actively demonstrate a deep understanding of the importance of accessibility and strive to create accessible products.
  6. Troubleshoot and identify potential accessibility issues.
  7. Monitor and test accessibility performance of products.
  8. Collaborate with other accessibility testers to ensure accessibility best practices are met.
  9. Provide feedback to product teams regarding accessibility performance.
  10. Report on accessibility progress and findings.
