Job Description

Working closely with device OEMs, chipset vendors, infra-vendors, and Verizon business customers to execute commercialization plans while working collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams. Program manage new products and services by supporting device vendors in execution of Field trials to certify new technologies. Build relationships with our internal customers (device marketing, operations, maintenance engineering, and consumer team) so that when issues arise they can be handled discretely and quickly, and so that the teams work well together. This ensures that bugs and issues found bubble up quickly and are resolved. Investigating field issues, provide solutions (UE-based or network-based) and follow up with the teams above for implementation. Adapt and address unforeseen issues that will arise as new features and functions are developed.

Job Qualifications

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Wireless engineering experience and strong knowledge of wireless infrastructure (4G, and 5G) and device design constraints.

  • Knowledge of 5G NR, LTE, IMS, VoLTE, VoNR.

  • Development and debug experience on mobile phones (i.e. QXDM, Wireshark, xCap).

  • Ability to facilitate collaborative resolution of differences with a “win-win” approach.
