Job Description

Varian Medical Systems is looking for an experienced Medical Test Physicist who will join our team of dedicated professionals and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment. The Medical Test Physicist will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing medical devices and systems. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a dedication to quality and safety.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Engineering with a specialization in Medical Physics• 5+ years of experience in medical device design, testing, and validation• Proven ability to analyze and debug complex systems• Knowledge of medical device regulations and applicable standards• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop medical devices and systems for use in medical applications.
  2. Analyze and debug complex systems to ensure performance and safety standards.
  3. Test and validate medical devices for accuracy and functionality.
  4. Develop and document appropriate procedures, standards, and regulations for medical devices.
  5. Assist with the development of medical device specifications and design requirements.
  6. Maintain a thorough understanding of medical device regulations and applicable standards.
  7. Troubleshoot and repair medical devices as needed.
  8. Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes for medical device development.
  9. Report regularly on project progress and outcomes.
  10. Ensure quality and safety measures are met throughout the medical device development process.
