Job Description

Are you passionate about helping to ensure the quality of medical products that are used to improve patients' lives? Do you have the attention to detail and technical expertise needed to be a successful Manufacturing In-Process Tester? If so, Varian Medical Systems may have the perfect opportunity for you!In this role, you will use your knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical components to inspect and test products during the manufacturing process. You must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality to ensure that all products meet the company's standards.We are looking for an individual who has experience in the medical device industry, or a related field, and a strong knowledge of quality control protocols. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsibilites:

  1. Inspect and test medical products during the manufacturing process to ensure that they meet standards.
  2. Maintain and adhere to quality control protocols.
  3. Monitor production and inspect components for defects.
  4. Document test results and analyze data to identify areas of improvement.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to production and product quality.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection activities.
  7. Work with production staff to resolve any issues or problems.
  8. Communicate effectively with other departments and team members.
  9. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  10. Implement improvements or modifications to production processes as needed.
