
Clinical Biomarker Scientist
Varian Medical Systems is looking for an ambitious and experienced Clinical Biomarker Scientist to join our team and help shape the future of cancer care. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific and technical background in biomarker development and validation, and a passion for leading the development of innovative oncology diagnostics for Varian.This position requires an individual with a PhD in Biomarker Science, Genetics, Molecular Biology or a related field; 3+ years of experience in clinical biomarker development, validation, and regulatory submissions; and an understanding of international clinical research regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate innovative biomarkers for oncology diagnostics.
- Lead the design, development, and execution of clinical studies and biomarker validation studies.
- Prepare regulatory documents and submissions for biomarker products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation of clinical and biomarker results.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Stay up to date on relevant scientific and technical knowledge.
- Implement best practices for biomarker development and validation.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations for clinical research.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to other team members.
