Job Description

At Varian Medical Systems, we are looking for an experienced Automation QA to join our dynamic development team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing automated tests to ensure the highest quality products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software quality assurance and automation testing.As Automation QA, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests for software applications. You should have a strong understanding of automation frameworks, a good knowledge of test automation tools, and a keen eye for detail.The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation• Expertise in developing automated tests using scripting languages such as Java, C#, or Python• Expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or HP UFT• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes• Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and debug software applications• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are passionate about software quality assurance and automation testing, we invite you to join our team and help us build the best products for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for software applications.
  2. Develop automated tests using scripting languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  3. Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or HP UFT.
  4. Understand and adhere to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug software applications.
  6. Analyze and solve problems.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of QA best practices and trends.
  9. Provide strategic advice and guidance on software quality assurance initiatives.
