As a Yield Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements by analyzing and reporting on our yield and inventory data. Monitor and analyze yield and inventory data to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
Prepare timely and accurate reports on yield and inventory data for management review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate yield and inventory data.
Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors in yield and inventory data.
Develop and maintain procedures and controls for the yield and inventory accounting process.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to yield and inventory accounting.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide support for internal and external audits related to yield and inventory accounting.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any issues or concerns.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards.
Train and mentor junior team members on yield and inventory accounting processes.
Participate in special projects or initiatives related to yield and inventory accounting.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the energy industry and accounting field.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Finance, Preferably In The Energy Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Gaap And Financial Reporting Principles.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Accounting Software.
Experience With Yield/Cost Accounting And Knowledge Of Refinery Operations Is Preferred.
