- Efficiently and accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials and products.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards.
- Utilize shipping software and equipment to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols while handling and moving materials and products.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Keep accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming or outgoing shipments.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Uphold the company's values and represent the organization in a professional manner.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Previous Experience In Shipping And Receiving: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Shipping And Receiving Role, Preferably In A Warehouse Or Industrial Setting.
Forklift Certification: The Ability To Safely And Effectively Operate A Forklift Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Valid Forklift Certification Or Be Willing To Obtain One.
Detail-Oriented And Organized: Shipping And Receiving Involves Managing A Large Volume Of Products And Materials. A Successful Candidate Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills And Be Able To Pay Close Attention To Detail.
