- Provide compassionate and expert care to patients in an urgent care setting.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
- Take and record patient vitals, medical history, and other necessary information.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment for patient use.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as collecting and processing specimens.
- Educate patients and their families on proper care and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure effective and efficient patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing support and answering any questions.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

- Stay current on industry advancements and best practices related to urgent care.

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical Assistant Role, Preferably In An Urgent Care Setting.
Completion Of A Certified Medical Assistant Program And Current Certification Through Aama Or Amt.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Equipment Commonly Used In Urgent Care.
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Providers, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment.
