
Surgical Room Specialist
The University of Vermont Medical Center is looking for an experienced and compassionate Surgical Room Specialist to join our world-class team. As a critical member of our medical team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our surgical rooms are properly prepared and maintained for our patients. Responsibilities: • Prepare surgical rooms for patient care according to hospital standards and procedures. • Maintain a clean and well-organized environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff. • Monitor and restock supplies and equipment in the surgical rooms. • Ensure that all equipment is properly functioning prior to use. • Collaborate with other members of the medical team to ensure a positive patient experience. • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and other sensitive information. • Monitor and report any discrepancies in the environment or equipment. • Assist in training and supervising other team members in the preparation and maintenance of surgical rooms. • Adhere to all regulations and standards set by the medical center.

Medical Terminology Certificate
At Least Year Experience In A Surgical Setting
Current Bls/Cpr/Aed Certification
