The University of Vermont Medical Center is looking for an experienced and compassionate Surgical Room Specialist to join our world-class team. As a critical member of our medical team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our surgical rooms are properly prepared and maintained for our patients. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients by helping to ensure that their care is delivered in a safe, clean, and efficient environment.The ideal candidate will have a background in medical or surgical technology, as well as experience in a clinical setting. We are looking for an individual who is organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and safety, and be willing to take on a leadership role in helping to ensure that our surgical rooms are up to the highest standards. Responsibilities: • Prepare surgical rooms for patient care according to hospital standards and procedures. • Maintain a clean and well-organized environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff. • Monitor and restock supplies and equipment in the surgical rooms. • Ensure that all equipment is properly functioning prior to use. • Collaborate with other members of the medical team to ensure a positive patient experience. • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and other sensitive information. • Monitor and report any discrepancies in the environment or equipment. • Assist in training and supervising other team members in the preparation and maintenance of surgical rooms. • Adhere to all regulations and standards set by the medical center.

Job Qualifications
