At UVM Medical Center, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Surgical Clinical Office Assistant - Pediatric Urology. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the surgical team to ensure smooth operations of the clinic. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of one year of patient care experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a pediatric urology specialty. You must have a proven history of providing exceptional customer service, excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Additionally, you should have knowledge of medical terminology and computer applications. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative and clinical support to the surgical team to ensure smooth operations of the clinic.
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families.
  3. Ensure the accuracy of patient records and other related documentation.
  4. Utilize medical terminology and computer applications to maintain patient records.
  5. Communicate and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient treatment.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Adhere to all safety and quality standards as set by the organization.
  8. Maintain valid Vermont State Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
