High School Diploma Or Ged: A Minimum Education Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Understand And Follow Instructions.
Previous Healthcare Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Surgical Or Gastroenterology Clinic. This Will Ensure They Have A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures.
Knowledge Of Emr Systems: The Candidate Should Have Experience Using Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems, As This Is A Crucial Aspect Of The Job. Knowledge Of Popular Emr Systems Like Epic Or Cerner Will Be An Added Advantage.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Surgical Clinical Office Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Staff Members On A Daily Basis. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
