
Speech Language Pathologist
The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an energetic and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, plus a minimum of one year of experience working in a health care setting. This individual should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals. We are seeking a creative and innovative professional who is passionate about helping people and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and/or swallowing disorders.
- Conduct assessments to identify and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and administer therapy sessions to improve patient’s communication skills.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate care and ensure best outcomes.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Participate in clinical research and report findings.
- Monitor patient progress and document treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.

Ccc-Slp Credentials From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha)
Vermont State Licensure In Speech-Language Pathology
