Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive care to patients with rheumatic diseases, and serve as a clinical resource for pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
2. Ensure that patient care is delivered in compliance with professional standards, relevant laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities and outcomes.
4. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
5. Participate in patient education activities and provide patient counseling on proper medication use.
6. Educate healthcare providers on rheumatology medications and their therapeutic applications.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities.
8. Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in the field of rheumatology pharmacy.
9. Participate in the development and implementation of new rheumatology pharmacy services.
