- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly and accurately operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Monitor and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update patient charts with procedure information.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and provide accurate and timely results.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff from exposure to radiation.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and coordinated care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Take responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging results.
- Assist with patient transport and other tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the department.

Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field
Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification In Radiography
State Licensure As A Radiologic Technologist
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Hospital Or Medical Center Setting
Familiarity With Pacs (Picture Archiving And Communication System) And Other Radiology Information Systems
