- Perform radiologic procedures on patients using a variety of imaging modalities, including X-ray, MRI, CT scan, and ultrasound.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, providing clear instructions and answering any questions they may have.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to determine the appropriate imaging techniques and protocols for each patient.
- Accurately record and maintain patient information, including images and medical history, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and radiation protection measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in radiology and attend trainings and workshops as required.
- Provide support and assistance to other radiology team members, including training and mentoring new technologists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and sterilization procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering compassionate care to patients and their families, while adhering to the hospital's mission and values.
Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Multiple Modalities, Such As Ct, Mri, And/Or Ultrasound.
Education: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field Is Required. A Bachelor's Degree Is Preferred.
Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist, With A Strong Emphasis On Cross-Training In Multiple Modalities.
Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Radiologic Technology, Including The Operation And Maintenance Of Various Imaging Equipment, And Be Proficient In Performing Complex Procedures.
Communication And Teamwork: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For Effectively Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Candidate Should Also Be A Team Player And Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
