  1. Conduct regular audits of processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Develop and implement quality assurance training programs for all staff members to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with department heads and staff to identify and resolve any quality-related issues or concerns.
  4. Monitor and track quality metrics and provide regular reports to management on the effectiveness of quality assurance initiatives.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to quality assurance and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Serve as a mentor and coach to staff, providing guidance and support in maintaining high quality standards.
  7. Conduct regular trainings and workshops to educate staff on quality assurance processes and best practices.
  8. Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and standardization across all departments.
  9. Communicate with external agencies and accrediting bodies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  11. Document and report any quality issues or concerns and work with relevant departments to resolve them in a timely manner.
  12. Participate in departmental meetings and committees to provide input and suggestions for improving quality assurance processes.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes to enhance the overall quality of care provided to patients.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff regarding their adherence to quality standards.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of UVM Medical Center in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Quality Assurance Or Performance Improvement In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Quality Improvement Methodologies, Such As Lean Or Six Sigma.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Train And Coach Staff On Quality Initiatives.

  • Experience With Data Analysis And Reporting, With Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Data Management Tools.
