
Physician- Neurologist
Are you an experienced neurologist looking for a new opportunity to make an impact? The University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) is seeking an exceptional board-certified/board-eligible Neurologist to join our team and provide patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary neuroscience team and will collaborate with a wide range of colleagues, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, and neuropsychologists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care and a commitment to advancing the field of neurology.Required qualifications include:• Board certification in Neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or board eligibility.• Licensure in the State of Vermont or eligible for licensure.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in clinical practice.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.• Experience with electronic health records and other computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain certification and licensure in the state of Vermont
- Participate in research and clinical trials to advance the field of neurology
- Utilize and maintain electronic health records and other computer systems
- Follow established protocols and procedures
- Maintain a commitment to patient safety and quality of care
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Document patient progress in accordance with medical regulations
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with patients, colleagues and other medical staff
