1. Perform radiologic procedures using X-ray, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
2. Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
3. Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
4. Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment to minimize the risk of infections.
5. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions or concerns.
6. Administer contrast materials as needed and monitor patients for potential adverse reactions.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses.
8. Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
9. Stay updated on new developments and advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
10. Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout the imaging process.
11. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services provided by the radiology department.
13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking supplies and disposing of used materials properly.
14. Attend mandatory training and education sessions to maintain licensure and stay current on industry standards.
