- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in scheduling system.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate scheduling and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude while greeting and assisting patients and visitors.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient and timely scheduling of appointments.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for appointments.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Act as a liaison between patients and various departments to ensure a smooth and coordinated patient experience.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of all scheduling activities.
- Stay updated on hospital policies and procedures related to patient scheduling.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with billing and coding department to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient information.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Registration Or Scheduling
