Patient Access (Registration) Specialist

2. Accurately collect and enter patient information into the computer system.
3. Verify insurance coverage and collect any required co-payments or deposits.
4. Answer patient inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
5. Assist with patient scheduling and pre-registration activities.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
7. Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service.
8. Demonstrate a commitment to the UVM Medical Center's core values.
9. Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
