  1. Provide administrative support to the Nephrology department at UVM Medical Center.
  2. Ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the department.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation.
  4. Assist in the coordination of patient appointments and scheduling.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  6. Handle inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  7. Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate patient care.
  8. Monitor and track department budgets and expenses.
  9. Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports and presentations.
  10. Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  11. Stay updated on industry regulations and trends to ensure compliance.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Act as a liaison between the department and other hospital departments.
  14. Identify and implement ways to increase efficiency and productivity.
  15. Support the department's mission to provide compassionate and innovative care to patients with kidney disease.
  16. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Nephrology.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Nephrology.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment And Multitask Effectively.
