- Provide specialized care to women with mental health challenges during pregnancy and postpartum.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and manage patients' medication regimens, as needed.
- Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding mental health and pregnancy-related concerns.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health resources and support services available.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document all interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with industry developments and research related to perinatal psychiatry.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Master's Degree In Nursing With Specialized Training And Certification As A Nurse Practitioner In Perinatal Psychiatry.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In A Perinatal Or Psychiatric Setting.
Current, Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Vermont.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Perinatal Mental Health Disorders, Including Postpartum Depression And Anxiety, And The Ability To Provide Evidence-Based Treatment.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Multidisciplinary Team Approach.
