
Nurse Practitioner - Neuro-Oncology

As a Nurse Practitioner at UVM Medical Center, you will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing illnesses, and providing a range of treatments and therapies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of three years of experience in a Neuro-Oncology setting, and a valid license to practice in the state of Vermont. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and assessments in a Neuro-Oncology setting.
- Diagnose illnesses and provide a range of treatments and therapies.
- Work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain a valid license to practice in the state of Vermont.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Neuro-Oncology best practices and treatments.
- Prepare patient charts and medical records accurately and timely.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay current on best practices.
Master's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Current Licensure As An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) In The State Of Vermont
Certification As A Nurse Practitioner (Np) In Neuro-Oncology
Minimum Of Two Years Of Clinical Experience In Neuro-Oncology
Ability To Diagnose And Treat Acute And Chronic Neurological Conditions
