  1. Provide expert wound care services to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  2. Use advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess, diagnose, and manage complex wound care cases.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention techniques.
  6. Stay current on new developments and evidence-based practices in wound care to continuously improve patient outcomes.
  7. Document patient care activities accurately and maintain thorough and organized patient records.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  9. Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare team members on wound care best practices.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to wound care.
  11. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while providing care to patients and their families.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve personal clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Vermont

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Wound Care, Preferably In An Acute Care Setting

  • Certification In Wound Care, Such As Wocn Or Cwcn, Preferred

  • Strong Assessment, Critical Thinking, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Individualized Wound Care Plans.
