- Perform nuclear imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.
- Operate and maintain advanced medical technology equipment, including gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to provide comprehensive and accurate patient care.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by following established protocols and guidelines.
- Evaluate images and data to determine the quality and accuracy of the results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Follow all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to minimize exposure risks.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements and changes in nuclear medicine technology and procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Attend training and continuing education programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Program.
Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Large Medical Center.
Strong Knowledge Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures And Equipment, Including Pet/Ct And Spect/Ct.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
