
Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

- Prepare and dispense medications to inpatients under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient and medication information in the electronic health record system.
- Help maintain an organized and clean work environment in the pharmacy.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery to patients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and healthcare staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures.
- Identify and report any medication errors or discrepancies to the pharmacist.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For A Pharmacy Technician Position At Uvm Medical Center. This Shows A Basic Level Of Education And Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Mathematics, Science, And English.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Most Employers, Including Uvm Medical Center, Prefer Candidates Who Hold A Cpht Certification.
