- Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Attend required trainings and meetings to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to maintain a consistent level of quality and cleanliness.
- Follow proper waste management protocols to ensure the safe disposal of biohazardous and infectious materials.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors by addressing any concerns or needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Ability To Learn And Follow Instructions.
Previous Experience In Environmental Services Or Related Field: Candidates With Previous Experience In Environmental Services Or Related Fields Will Have A Better Understanding Of The Job Responsibilities And Be Able To Adapt Quickly To The Hospital's Specific Procedures And Protocols.
Knowledge Of Cleaning And Sanitation Techniques: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Cleaning And Sanitation Techniques, Including Knowledge Of Appropriate Cleaning Products And Safety Protocols. This Is Essential For Maintaining A Clean And Safe Environment For Patients, Staff, And Visitors.
Physical Ability To Perform Job Duties: This Role Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Such As Equipment And Furniture. Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Health And Able To Stand, Bend, And Lift For Extended Periods Of Time.
