
Director - Advanced Practice Providers
The University of Vermont Medical Center is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Director of Advanced Practice Providers (APP). As the leader of this highly visible and important role, you will be responsible for the oversight of our APP team and providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in APP leadership and a deep commitment to providing outstanding patient care. We are seeking a collaborative, creative, and energetic leader with superior communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be an experienced APP leader with a minimum of five years of experience in an inpatient/outpatient setting. Additionally, they must have a master’s degree in nursing or healthcare-related field, have a valid license in the state of Vermont, and have experience managing a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the APP team to ensure the highest levels of patient care are provided.
- Develop and implement short and long-term strategies and plans for the APP team.
- Monitor and evaluate APP team performance, providing feedback and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Recruit, train, and mentor APP team members.
- Ensure all APP team members are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and collaborate with internal departments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations.
- Monitor and analyze APP team progress to ensure goals are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the APP team.
- Manage and administer the budget for the APP team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Advanced Degree In Nursing Or Health Science
Current Rn And/Or Aprn Licensure In The State Of Vermont
Minimum Of Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Healthcare Setting
