The UVM Medical Center is seeking a Practice Supervisor for our Obstetrics and Gynecology department at CVPH.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at CVPH.
  2. Utilize strong organizational skills to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the practice.
  3. Monitor and improve the quality of patient care through regular evaluation and feedback.
  4. Provide leadership and support to the OB/GYN team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  7. Manage and optimize resources, including staffing, budget, and equipment, to meet the needs of the practice.
  8. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and guidance for staff development and improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in women's health to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  10. Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to patient satisfaction.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
  13. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff to the department.
  14. Handle any issues or concerns that may arise within the practice in a timely and effective manner.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and seek opportunities for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Ob/Gyn.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field Required, Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Current Knowledge And Understanding Of Ob/Gyn Procedures, Protocols, And Best Practices.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Develop A Team, Including Experience With Performance Management And Staff Development.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Physicians, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
