
Counselor Employee and Family Assistance Program - Hybrid

- Provide counseling services to employees and their families through in-person and virtual sessions.
- Conduct initial assessments to determine the needs of each individual and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address mental health concerns and promote overall well-being.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all counseling sessions and treatment plans.
- Educate employees and their families about mental health and wellness, including self-care strategies and coping mechanisms.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for individuals experiencing acute mental health episodes.
- Serve as a resource for managers and supervisors on how to support employees with mental health concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and participate in professional development activities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines in all interactions with employees and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee wellness programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with human resources to provide support during times of organizational change or employee transitions.
- Act as an advocate for employees and their families, ensuring their needs are being met and their voices are heard.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all employees and families seeking counseling services.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Foundation In Counseling And Mental Health Is Essential For A Counselor Employee And Family Assistance Program - Hybrid Job. A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Counseling Techniques And Theories.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Counseling Experience: To Effectively Support Employees And Their Families, A Counselor Employee And Family Assistance Program - Hybrid Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Counseling. This Experience Should Include Working With Diverse Populations And A Variety Of Mental Health Concerns.
Experience In Employee Assistance Programs: A Strong Understanding Of Employee Assistance Programs Is Crucial For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working In An Employee Assistance Program, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
