- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from patients and visitors.
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care by providing support in various medical procedures and treatments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure all HIPAA guidelines are followed.
- Conduct patient intake and obtain necessary information such as medical history, vital signs, and current medications.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked and ready for use.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with patient education and provide resources for patients and their families.
- Follow infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices and procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and emergency protocols.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the hospital in a positive light.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Clinical Assistant Position At Uvm Medical Center Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows Basic Educational Proficiency And The Ability To Learn And Follow Directions.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Equivalent Certification: Many Clinical Assistant Positions At Uvm Medical Center Require Applicants To Hold A Certification As A Medical Assistant, Such As A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Equivalent.
