Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently select products from the warehouse using an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- Ensure all selected products are of the highest quality and meet customer specifications.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times while operating equipment and handling products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following sanitation guidelines to ensure food safety.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete orders within designated time frames.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Operate warehouse equipment and machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring all products are properly secured and accounted for.
- Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
- Communicate any customer concerns or issues to management in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and coworkers at all times.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment by actively participating in team meetings and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Previous Warehouse Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Warehouse Setting, Preferably In A Night Shift Role. This Ensures They Are Familiar With The Physical Demands And Fast-Paced Environment Of The Job.
Strong Physical Stamina: As A Night Warehouse Selector, The Job Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Objects And Boxes. Candidates Must Possess The Physical Strength And Stamina To Handle These Tasks Efficiently And Safely.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Role As Night Warehouse Selectors Are Responsible For Accurately Picking And Packing Products For Delivery. Candidates Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Work With Precision To Ensure The Correct Items Are Selected And Packaged.
Familiarity With Warehouse Equipment: Experience Operating Warehouse Equipment Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Hand Trucks Is Highly Desirable For This Job. Candidates With Previous Experience Using Warehouse Equipment Will Be Able To Quickly Adapt To The Job And Perform Tasks More Efficiently.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Night Warehouse Selectors Work In A Fast-Paced And Often High-Pressure Environment. Candidates Must Be Able To Work Quickly And Efficiently To Meet Tight Deadlines And Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job While Maintaining A High Level Of Productivity.
