- Develop and implement strategies and procedures to identify and prevent internal and external fraud, theft, and other illegal activities within the organization.
- Conduct thorough and timely investigations into suspected fraudulent or illegal activities, ensuring proper documentation and evidence collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, human resources, and finance, to gather information and support investigations.
- Analyze data and trends to identify potential areas of risk and implement proactive measures to prevent future incidents.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in corporate investigations and fraud prevention.
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to aid in investigations and potential legal action.
- Conduct training and educational programs for employees to promote a culture of integrity and compliance.
- Manage a team of investigators and provide guidance and support to ensure timely and effective investigations.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of investigations and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to corporate investigations and fraud prevention.
