The successful candidate will be responsible for providing enterprise-wide data architecture and data governance oversight that meets the business needs of US Foods.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and at least five years of experience as a data architect or related position. They must also have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. 2. Analyze data to identify trends and issues, recommend solutions, and develop architecture-level documents.
3. Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
4. Act as a key point of contact for data architecture-related issues and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
5. Monitor industry trends related to data architecture and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data architecture and governance policies are properly implemented.
7. Develop data architecture and data governance roadmaps and strategies.
8. Ensure data architecture and governance policies are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
9. Create, document, and maintain data architecture and governance processes and procedures.
10. Develop and maintain data architecture and governance dashboards and metrics.
